
What winning a Drapers Etail Award means to us

We were absolutely thrilled to be awarded ‘Best Etail Innovation’ at the Drapers Etail Awards 2010.
In a year where the industry is experiencing increasing pressures, it is a real honour to be recognised by an institution such as Drapers for our contribution to the sector.
We launched Girl Meets Dress to give our customers a different retail experience, merging new levels of accessibility with best in class fulfilment and on-demand convenience to suit every style and occasion.
Winning this Drapers award for Innovation is particularly special to us given the high calibre of contenders and judges and we are absolutely delighted!
Innovations I admire most tend to be based on a great concept such as delivering a customer offering or experience ahead of the market trend.
NotOnTheHighStreet.com and A Suit That Fits.com are two of my favourites because both, like Girl Meets Dress, offer customers something exciting that they weren’t able to get before, and have managed to make sustainable businesses out of it.
