Domain name designer.co.uk is available for rent or sale. It’s current owner Gerard Hughes is looking for a monthly rental fee of over £5000 for the domain.

It is currently being used as an affiliate website, although Hughes is convinced the domain is suited to a fashion retailer due to the natural/direct traffic the domain attracts.

The Online Fashion Agency has accessed the website’s Analytics data which reported over 17,000 unique visitors in December 2009. The majority of which (over 85%) is derived from direct visits.

In 2008 the domain name Cruises.co.uk changed hands for over £500,000 and Software.co.uk was sold for £150,000. Hughes thinks designer.co.uk has the same potential and is open to seven figure offers.
