Try glasses on virtually, with your web cam

Just when you thought that online shopping couldn’t get any better, Glasses Direct (www.glassesdirect.co.uk) have upped their game with a fantastic new feature – a virtual mirror.

Using advanced facial recognition software, customers can now download this application to try on the glasses online, all in the comfort of their own homes!

This feature is great for those who want the benefits of buying online while also being able to see what the glasses look like – a product that’s normally really difficult to choose just by looking at the screen.

As a contact lens wearer, I tend to keep my glasses for indoors only, but after trying this out I’m definitely looking for a new pair of specs from Glasses Direct.
